• How many sessions does it usually take? The number of HyperWave sessions you’ll need depends on your condition, how severe it is, and what you’re hoping to achieve. At your first appointment, your provider will review your symptoms, any prior treatment history, and recommend a plan tailored to you. If you have recent X-rays, MRI reports, or other diagnostic imaging, please bring them with you so your provider can factor them into your care plan.

• What does a HyperWave session feel like? Most patients describe the session as a series of firm, rapid pulses delivered to the treatment area. You may feel pressure and tapping sensations, and some spots can feel more intense or tender depending on the area being treated and your sensitivity. Your provider can adjust the settings throughout the session to keep you as comfortable as possible.

• Is there any downtime after the therapy session? Sessions are typically done in-office with no downtime. Most patients return to normal activities afterward.
